Here is a perfect peach-forward cocktail to raise a glass to all who have served and unofficially kick off summer 2021. The Midnight Train (For One)
By Lucinda Sterling; Seaborne (Red Hook Brooklyn) and Middle Branch (New York)
2oz Town Branch Bourbon
½ oz Giffard Peche de Vigne
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash peach bitters
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir until very cold, about 15 seconds, and strain into a rock glass over fresh ice, preferably a king cube. Garnish with an expressed lemon twist.
For a Crowd (Serves 10)
20 oz Town Branch Bourbon
5 oz Giffard Peche de Vigne
10 oz water
2½ tsp Angostura bitters
1¼ tsp peach bitters
Combine ingredients in a pitcher and stir. Chill in the refrigerator (or pour right away) and serve in a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish each drink with an expressed lemon twist.
