It’s hard to believe it was 2017 when young Freddie Noe launched Little Book, his first release as a budding Beam Empire Master Distiller.
Seven years later, the now official 8th generation Master Distiller of the Fred B. Noe Distillery presents ‘In Retrospect,’ the latest Little Book release.
What's In The Bottle?
Little Book is an annual bottling comprising a different recipe of American whiskeys in various styles chosen by Freddie Noe. And like every version thus far, a lot’s happening here. This Little Book recipe is a blend of 7 whiskeys, containing one component from each of the last six editions. The final blend features a variety of cask-strength bourbons, ryes, and malt, which range between 4 and 18 years of age. Check out the complete list below.
Little Book ‘In Retrospect’ was bottled at a cask strength 118.1% ABV and retails for $150.

How Does It Taste?
Notes of cola, clove, and rye spice on the nose lead to a rich and round sip with pops of bright fruit, vanilla, more rye spice, and a curl of smoke on the back. The finish is gooey and lingering with caramel and a hint of menthol.
