To put you in a tropical mood, the mixology team at The Ready Room at Old Line Distillery in Baltimore share a pair of freshly shaken Caribbean rum cocktails that will make you forget all about old man winter. Swim Call is a play on the classic Mai Tai, employing Chinola Passion Fruit liqueur in place of the expected curaçao. The Last Corsair puts an orange and blackberry twist on a dark rum Daiquiri. What You’ll Need
2 oz Old Line Aged Caribbean Rum
½ oz Passion fruit liqueur (Chinola recommended)
½ oz Orgeat syrup
½ oz Fresh lime juice
Mint sprig (for garnish)
How To Make It: Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until very cold and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig.
